Pros

Laid back, interesting and creative staff; large variety of projects to work on; cool events that are open to the staff/public; great access to art and art resources

Cons

Not the most challenging work; large stock of interns who are all trying to get into the same tight field.

Pros

- the small but mighty team is really close knit and down to earth - director/manager is great and really reasonable - really good to get an intern familiar with classical graphic design standards

Cons

- definitely no option for a full-time conversion after internship ends

Pros

The Whitney truly cares about intern professional growth, and they have many events for interns to get immersed in the museum as well as the broader space. You get to genuinely contribute and make an impact in your department.

Cons

Be prepared to be proactive and self-starting, as it is a fast-paced environment where you should be able to hit the ground running.
