Cons
The DM’s are incredibly harsh. The dress code is also ridiculous. The mission statement is ‘To create an oasis to inspire and empower all women.’ Yet if I choose to wear sneakers because I’ve worked a 9+ hour shift I get in trouble. The year I was with them I had to beg for a decent raise. Making 12 an hour as a full time ASM and never seeing a single bonus till my last quarter with the company was a joke. Plus they rush to put anyone in charge because they can’t keep workers happy. My store couldn’t even get the fitting rooms painted and we already hit 1 million before I left. Yet ironically has opened hundreds of new stores. The hours also aren’t fair. And many of other management before me would have get a promotion but yet no pay increase. Also the lack of care to the workers when all a customer had to do was complain one time and we are then told to just do whatever the customer asks even though it goes against the policy they enforce. Lastly the rewards we get is solely from DM’s they do small contests but from the corporate office of you make a ‘Mini fortune’ or ‘Fortune 500’ our stylist get nothing. Would like to see in the future they take that into consideration.
