Pros
So much opportunity to learn and grow in this company, especially if you haven't had prior sales experience or limited job exp. Like many reviewers have said though, your experience truly depends on the owner. I got lucky. Great place for a real tech lover, environment is fast-paced and ever changing which can make your job really exciting and fun. Always something new to learn, and in a decent location with good traffic you will never be bored. If you are a people-person who can work a flexible schedule this is a nice fit.
Cons
Pay is not nearly enough for the work you put in, especially as a store manager. For the dedicated, hard working employees this job will drain you. The demand from ATI for more, more, more is frustrating considering the actual sales team is doing all of the work and then some. Hard to stay motivated because of pressure to sell stupid things like wireless home phone service. So much pressure to sell new lines, it really takes away from the good parts of this job. VERY little to no support from higher management and owners, its like a broken food chain. Poor training program, inconsistent commission plan. Scheduling is really rough because turnover is high due to the nature of the business and low base pay makes it hard to attract and keep good people. Corporate makes these decisions that affect everyone yet they are so disconnected from what is actually going on in the stores, they don't have a clue.
