Firstly, I’m so sorry to hear you’re looking to move on. We’re proud of our strong staff retention and growth rates in recent times so it’s disappointing to learn that you’re not enjoying your time here.
Hearing that you feel one of our directors is “toxic” is deeply unsettling, it’s a word we have never associated with any member of staff here and it’s a real shock to read this. Of course, this is an accusation we take extremely seriously, given our commitment to our staff to ensure they feel as supported as possible both personally and professionally during their time here. Because of this, we have discussed your review at length as a board and given the description of the director you have provided, we cannot identify the person you mention.
Of course, we fully appreciate given the nature of your review you may have taken steps to further anonymise who you’re describing, but following a full review of all directors and speaking to a large number of staff members, we’re unable to pinpoint who you’re referring to. That being so, although you feel a suggestion to speak to senior management would be futile, it’s really the only viable suggestion we can offer. Please remember that there are six members of the Strategic Board and a further eight members of the Senior Leadership Team, any member of which you are welcome and encouraged to speak to confidentially and without judgement. We do also have anonymous feedback channels if you feel more comfortable using these. This is the only way that we can take important action against your complaint, and we so want to – as it’s saddening to hear you feel this way, which is so far removed from the team we feel we have built.
Please do give us the opportunity to improve your experience here and we’d really appreciate the chance to keep you within our team.
Felicity
