Pros

Unfortunately, there are none when it comes to this misinformed group. However, it's truly unfortunate for the families that rely on the CEO, CHRO etc., to make sound and beneficial decisions for them. This group is more worried about their huge 6 figure salaries and when they're going to receive the next raise - than the homeless.

Cons

The frontline staffers are one foot out of the shelters themselves due to working at minimum wage without raises year after year. Case Managers with degrees are incredibly underpaid and also don't receive timely increases. Not to mention, they are always understaffed due to high turnover, which also means the homeless families don't receive the care that they deserve. But, don't worry about the C-Suite! They're living it up with their cushy salaries and firing the hardworking staff without investigating, who has time for that?!

Pros

Decent pay and time off

Cons

WIN does not care about its employees. I was assaulted on shift and WIN refused to share camera footage with me or the police. I filed for workers comp so I could go to therapy and they fired me shortly afterwards. The building I worked at had a shooting in the lobby and people would overdose in the stairs. The clients/tenants are nasty and rude to the employees. One of the superintendents committed suicide in his apartment. Managers will rarely checked on the building, and the employees at our sister site up the block were afraid to cover our building shifts. The family shelter sites run out of cribs, while upper management throws Gala’s and celebrates their “success” Do not work here if you value your life
