Pros
People are friendly. CEO and COO protect employees stock options. Flexible with remote work and time off.
Cons
Broken with 2 main issues - sales and the office management. 1) Mgmt has fallen into the classic trap of letting the sales team drive them over a cliff. Sales has got us doing some insane BS work. It started about 6 months ago when the new CRO came onboard. Sales pressures everyone to build whatever closes that particular deal whether or not it makes sense. This almost makes us a custom shop instead of a cool startup with a solid, clear vision. It took away the cool startup buzz and destroys what was once a valuable product or an acquisition candidate. 2) Office mgmt (what we call Operations Mgement) ignore needs until groups complain or make snarky jokes in chatrooms. Like holes in the floor, broken doors, computers, video conference problems, lack of conf rooms, newbies not have everything they need on start date. No common sense either. For example, conference room doors opening the wrong way to cause maximum inconvenience. Also, no consideration has been made to get interior construction done out of the business hours. Engineers are all trying to work with distractions and smells (glue etc).
