Pros

Nice location and building (if you are in the new part )

Cons

Never worked for such a dreadful manager or company - he had zero empathy or leadership skills . I am shocked he stayed there so long and he got away with it ! Could not take any feedback if it didn't fit with his agenda . Lots of inter company relationships with directors and staff probably why they aren't held accountable. They got rid of a lot of good people who tried to change things , even though they said they embraced it . Nearly the whole HR team left during my time . Massive retention issues .

Pros

Career opportunities are good. Salaries are decent. There are some nice individuals within the business.

Cons

Awful, awful dictatorship style management from the top down. Massive labour turnover. An utterly ridiculously political environment. Some leaders in the business are more concerned with escalating their own image and financial worth within the business and they are happy to use you as cannon fodder. Lied to, on a number of occasions. Told there would be a secure job for us after restructures, only to find out some of our jobs had already been recruited for and then individuals previously told there would be a place for them at WN have then been made redundant. They literally couldn't care less about your wellbeing if they tried... They have just launched a wellbeing charter - which would be great. However on recent group meetings there has even been ridiculous things like a 'car park hierarchy' where the senior people in the business get to park closer to the door, and the minions have to park further down the car park. Awful, awful, awful, toxic and damaging environment.

Thank you for taking the time to write this feedback. We're so sorry to hear of your experiences and can assure you that a great deal of work has been carried out recently to set the foundation for a positive culture within WorkNest, including the articulation of our Values and holding people to account if they are not aligned to these. We are also progressing our leadership development and I can assure you that no such hierarchy exists today. Thank you for your contribution and we wish you well in your future plans.
