Pros

Working from home, Short-term contract. Pay on time Don't have to work in a call centre with everyone else.

Cons

You have to supply your own computer, headset and internet. Poor Management on the NHS 119 Trace & Trace contract. Poor training. Its the blind leading the blind. Little in the way of breaks, the management is always on your back about returning, The most stressful job I have ever done. NO mental health help, despite working on a contract for the NHS. Wages never right. Always getting my team manager to put in pay queries. Turnover of staff is unbelivable. Never get a rest from the phone ringing. Abuse from the public. Little real training. just expected to wing it. They accept anyone, I mean anyone. Some people cannot even speak English. The citizens phoning get these people who then hang up on them. They cannot be understood. They refuse many holiday requests. Isolation, no mental health monitorying People working 16 hour days, 7 days a week. This is supposed to be a NHS job. So many data breaches. Entire groups of 40 listen to phone calls from members of the public giving sensitive medical information. Just above minimum wage Cannot get through to Workforce, even when the phone is not engaged they put it down on you.
