Pros

Environment is nice to work in I guess...staff are friendly and fun to work with. And managers are generally supportive.

Cons

1. Very stingy with everything, From staff benefits to salaries to customer gifts. 2. No career progression at all, essentially it's a dead end job with everyone's workload stacked on each other. 3. Horrible management, fires literally everyone in upper management and expects the managers to be miracle workers and fix everything. 4. Outdated and terrible systems that make efficiency worse than ever, feels like working in 2008. 5. Actually don't know how is this company still functioning. Everything feels disorganized, heck basic policies were never clear and agreed upon and yet they swept it under the rug and let it mold like cheese. Until someone finally addressed it and then it's a big deal... 6. If you value your time, don't come here. It might seem enticing and fun at first but then you realize how dull, exhausting and draining it actually is. Workload is unnecessarily outdated and complex, you spend more time problem solving around these old problem than fixing it.

Pros

The distributed team is a mixture of talent and collaboration. Strong leadership, good team work, supportive staff, good pay. The work is challenging and rewarding.

Cons

It's a learning process. A lot of systems and processes seem new and the company is heading into unchartered waters, so there is a learning curve and friction in finding the optimal way forward.

Pros

- Hourly compensation - Good support network, good training - Friendly staff and management

Cons

- Offers very little full-time employment for non-Japanese (teaching staff) - Most teachers employed semi-illegally as "Outside contractors" - Management expects too much from part-time workers in terms of extra activities, availability and hours, which are not well compensated
