Pros
It's an opportunity to gain experience if you don't have any.
Cons
It's a small company so you're limited if you want to move "up the ladder." Your manager has to quit, be fired or die in order for you to be promoted. The people are cool. However, it's a selfish environment; it's a "not my problem" environment; everybody is concerned with doing the minimum amount of work to get by. It's not a team oriented environment. The management isn't good. They don't really do any actual managing. The compensation isn't great. I was underpaid for the amount of work and the type of work I was doing. It's was okay when I started because the work I had was simple. However, my roles and duties evolved and became more complicated but the compensation didn't evolve with it.
