Pros
By nature of being a small business of ~150 employees, coworkers are generally friendly and there's something of a familial camaraderie in the workforce. The white collar management works more closely with the rest of the workforce and are more visible than in other companies I have worked for.
Flexible hours.
The quarterly profit sharing, while small, is a nice bonus.
Cons
Very low compensation for what is expected, even even considering the region and industry.
Severe lack of direction to the point where the disorganization made it difficult to complete certain jobs.
Employees are expected to return results that are impossible without support from the management that is next to nonexistent.
Problems and deficiencies in performance (of individuals or units) that should be addressed with corrective action are often ignored.
Issues in production that management should be addressing with fundamental changes were given band aids.
