Pros
Though very limited, few pros that I would like to make for fairness:
-Co-workers and middle managers while I was with the firm were very supportive and professional.
-Great work exposure with clients well established in their on industry.
Cons
There are way too many. Seriously.
One thing to note before I list out the cons; All former employees can tell who gave 5 stars. This reviewer, to no fault of his/her own, has always been "asked" to do things like this by the Managing Partner of this place, who owns the firm.
To continue with the cons:
-No respect for professional work. Hires well educated and experienced professionals to perform minuscule & administrative role, falsely selling the role to be a career building consulting or specialist role.
-Limited advancement opportunity within the firm. Limited industry exposure.
-Lack of benefits, and salary is laughable for the amount of work the Managing Partner/Owner expects you to do.
-Lack of process, lack communication, lack of training. Basically lack of everything required/wanted by the employees to do anything that is asked to perform at the client site. One example, few of my co-workers were forced to help out with delivering an operational excellence/business improvement consulting project for a possible client last minute without any formal training. These co-workers were very green and required guidance and training with few methodologies, which were asked to be provided numerous times. Managing Partner/Owner basically was very angry that they were "bringing him problems and not solutions" and provided few links and a book to self-train themselves.
-Managing Partner/Owner does treat their employees with respect at all.
-I could go on, but I'll stop here
