Pros
free catered lunch, free snacks, Uber/UberEats credits, and no dress code
Cons
-The pay is awful. $16.75 an hour is just terrible and everyone is underpaid. They use to offer overtime to make it a little better but then that was cut and disallowed. I was told I would make between 2-6k as a bonus and I got a $300 bonus at the end of the year. At this level you are not offered any Uber stock only management level is. - The work is extremely boring. You do the same exact thing day in and day out and after a few months you just want to bang your head against a wall doing this mindless, repetitive, and unfulfilling work for 40 hours a week -This is a dead end job for the most part. When I interviewed I was told about the countless opportunities I would have to move up but that was a lie. Very few in this role have been promoted since I joined and the few that have were promoted to a lead position that basically pays the same. I was encouraged by my manager to apply for a better position within the company. After I applied I was rejected the next day without even being interviewed. They continually bring in outside people to fill in leadership roles -You have to work at least 2 Saturdays per month and come in at 7am on those days. You do get to take a day off during that week but there is no worse feeling than having to come in and sit there on a Saturday. In summary do not take this job. You can make way more money elsewhere and do something that actually could interest you and something you can have an impact on.
