Pros
I love being able to work in my home office each day. I love my colleagues across all account teams at Xelerate. The organization has so many strong employees and we all get to use the knowledge of the entire team. The people at Xelerate, at all levels, actually care about each other. It's refreshing for a company to not just say the right things to employees, but to walk the walk as well. My Manager always has my back, no matter what. I feel comfortable talking to her about both good and hard things.
Cons
The economy has been really hard the last couple of years, so we have not received raises or bonuses recently. Things have really picked up recently and we are hoping for these things to return soon.
Pros
The best part about Xelerate is the supportive leadership team. They truly commit to your professional development and give you the tools you need to succeed. They are also genuinely great people who are there for you when you need support. It’s also a small company made up of a bunch of top-performing recruiters. If you are organized and are motivated by hitting your goals and providing the best service to your client, you will fit in well. Throughout your career, you will most likely have the opportunity to support a variety of different clients. It keeps your skills fresh as well as keeps you motivated, there’s no time to get stagnant at Xelerate. This is also conducive to professional growth and there are many opportunities to be promoted. Other pros are: affordable benefits with good network, above average PTO plan that increases with tenure, remote work setting, collaborative team environment, leadership is approachable and supportive, paid maternity leave, paid volunteer time, thorough new-hire training and learning & development opportunities, opportunity for growth.
Cons
Not too many cons but must be noted: at this time there is no bonus plan or 401k match, however the compensation is more than fair and these things are most likely temporary.
