Pros

Free Food Nice Co Workers (Some but not all) Opportunity to take on way to much (get experience fast) but with lots of stress

Cons

Constant Stress Management is out of touch with employees Management favoritism and lack of transparency Company is not humble and focusing on saying things are good when they are clearly bad (Lack of realistic perspective) Management is not hands on (Leadership is not taking the lead, they expect the underlings to do everything) Poor monitoring of metrics, inventory, assets. No focus on people, everything is about money and running lean despite the cost to workers. Layoffs, lack of pay raises despite more work. Lack of positive company culture. Everything revolves around more work, less fun. This company will clearly go out of business. They are sharks with no focus on people and lack of leadership.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad to hear you valued the opportunity to gain experience quickly at Ximedica and enjoyed working with some of your colleagues. We hear your concerns and wanted to respond to your comments regarding our work culture and business health. We pride ourselves on a strong company culture where employees feel empowered to build community through collaboration and activities they bring to the team. It is true, we put a lot of responsibility on our teams on product development programs. It is because we have faith in the teams, the independent reviewers and relationship managers that make up the overall Ximedica team. We want folks that take pride in their work, are willing to work in a multi-level team environment and working towards developing great products that make a difference in the world. Throughout the year we have spirit days, team dinners, happy hours, costume contests, and concerts by the Ximedica band called the “Non-Compliants,” who just performed for an employee-sponsored charity function in April 2018. Ximedica was recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Rhode Island by Providence Business News in 2017. We continually seek new ways of collaborating with our teams, taking feedback through a variety of sources, including lessons learned sessions, the Employee Engagement committee, company meetings, and fireside chats. We believe in continual improvement, and will continue to find better ways of uniting our teams in a shared vision. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and best wishes on your continued success. Regards, Ximedica’s Executive Team

Pros

The coworkers are great! Very welcoming and fun people to work with for teams. Very smart and talented coworkers. All the problems are management and it's trickling down to internal departments.

Cons

Suppressed salary compared to market, poor bonuses and mediocre raises, mediocre healthcare, too many in upper management focused on the nickels and dimes. There are too many overhead positions in general putting stress on the resources actually doing billable work.
