High turnover, endless “restructuring”, criminally low wages compared to market rate for anyone who isn’t management. Little to no training, no clear organizational structure, upper management refuses to look at anything other than numbers (user experience doesn’t seem to be a high priority). You will probably be asked to do things that weren’t in your original job description with no warning, constantly— things that require training and practice, not just occasional dipping into other tasks as necessary. Data people are writing product copy on a regular basis with no training, writing people are doing A-Z publishing, projects are rammed down the pipeline with no forethought and no regard for how existing workloads will be affected, often creating more work and more “urgent projects” down the line. No interdepartmental communication whatsoever, and absolutely no transparency on any level. I also received no managerial feedback whatsoever in my time at this company.
