Pros
I had a great core team that all had been working for years, and we worked together well. I love working with kids too. Offer to get diploma done as a traineeship. Strong values and heaps of professional development courses.
Cons
Revolving door with staff except for very few. Support from management minimal - they stopped supporting me once my partner obtained a disability, and acted very strange and discriminatory. No communication from management unless an issue occurred. No time off the floor to do programming and planning, barely an uninterrupted lunch break if we were lucky. Usually worked over 8 hours a day. Traineeship offer was only if I paid $12,000 for said Diploma, and also accepted a lower pay rate, for doing a Qualified role anyway! Usually needed to take work home due to no scheduled programming time.
