NYC office candidates stay away - Social Media Manager Yousician Employee Review

Unfortunately, there's no job security here. I read previous reviews about this issue from 2020 and assumed they were related to the pandemic; found out the hard way that it's just a fact of life at Yousician that you simply don't have the luxury of job security here if you work at the NYC office. I was enjoying my time working for Yousician until leadership suddenly decided to dissolve the *entire brand marketing team* rather than replace 3 employees who had recently moved on to other opportunities. We were told that the decision had nothing to do with our work, but that unfortunately budget cuts would have to affect headcount. I do have to say, at LEAST they provided us with a generous severance, but of course it's small consolation after being told you're not valued at a company.
