Pros

This is a company that is backed up by McKesson, who states their revenues are over $120B/year. Stability is good if you are a non sales employee and do your job exactly how you are told.

Cons

Zee is a very small drop in the bucket for McKesson. Very little to no promoting from within. Measly annual increases that don't even match up to the cost of living increases. Management does not commend you for work done well, rather they do reprimand you for mistakes. Corporate office is run down and reflects a bad image. Lots of finger pointing at this company. If you're a salaried employee they suck the life out of you and expect you to work 10 hours days or you are made to feel guilty. Oh and also management will treat you like pawns, comparing you to another employee which causes animosity within the business unit. Work/life balance is terrible and stress is very high. Even management doesn't seem happy at Zee. Medical package is to be desired. Positions at the corporate office are slowly being eliminated and transferred to their Indianapolis facility, which causes concern with the remaining employees.

Pros

Zee Medical is a great job to start off with out of college to get outside sales experience. They give you a vehicle with a gas card so you don't have to worry about a vehicle expense. The territories are very big and guarded just for you. Management is very helpful and tries to provide all the tools necessary to do your job better. McKesson also provides excellent Health Care Benefits.

Cons

Long hours, even longer driving hours, low pay...I made around $1,500.00 to $2,500 per month average before taxes, but it's straight commission averaging around 18% of your sales (my goal was 16K monthly), you sometimes have to be a bill collector so you won't get charged back. Very little opportunity for advancement. My manager was awesome and he had been in the same postion for 21 years without advancement and told me he was frustrated because they were paying people more coming in the door than they were for his salary when his team always made goal every month and had been with the company so long. Also, you have to do a ton of paperwork, inventory and van reloading that takes 4-6 hours extra per-week with no compensation.
