Pros
Decent medical benefits and compensation
Cons
Managers are incompetent and lack even the most basic technical knowledge of the products; one of them is barely present in the office while the other does only the most basic jobs while throwing the more complicated jobs to the engineers. The customers themselves have very poor opinions of the managers and prefer liaising with the engineers whom they know are competent and would actually try to help them. However the managers suffer no consequences as they are protected by the big boss of operations, who himself is biased towards those who suck up to him, while micromanaging and making life difficult for the rest who choose not to stroke his ego. He uses his Yes Men managers to enforce his ever changing implementations, most of which fail to benefit the company and only serve to make life harder for his employees. He is a dictator who refuses to listen to any feedback from his employees, he insists on his way and only his way. He has also given many false promises to employees about promotions/incentives, giving weak excuses or manipulating the situation so that he won’t have to deliver on his promises. He blatantly plays favourites and only gives such promotions/incentives to those he likes. He has created a “Chinatown” culture, wherein he almost exclusively converses in Mandarin to his Chinese employees, even during team meetings. Furthermore, during department gatherings, he gives no consideration to his Muslim employees when picking a non-Halal restaurant, and makes them purchase their own food and bring it to the restaurant.
