Pros
You won't hear many software engineers praising zebra. So really I have nothing to really positive to say about the company. But then at the same time, what software engineer in their right mind would join a manufacturing company ? Not too many. I guess if you're a mechanical engineer, things will get really interesting for you. Some of the printers involve heavy mechanics so if you are given to design them, it is worth the experience. If you're a software engineer, there is not much you can learn or do here.
Cons
Not a good place for a software engineer. As a software engineer, you will not learn any new technologies, you will not learn good coding habits, you will not even know about what design practices or good design practices are, and you will not know how to use them. Your market value as a software engineer will decrease if you work here. So, seriously consider before taking the offer. In terms of compensation, not so great either. Software engineers are among the highest paid workers in this country. Yet Zebra does not realize that and pays them as much as it does to other engineers. Not sure how things are now, but back in the days when I was there, you had to go through lot of hassle in order to get some supplies for you, these include pens, pencils, notepads. In other companies you just go get them from some cabinet. Not at Zebra, fill out the form, get it approved by your manager and you will eventually get your notepads.
