Engineering team was good. But they kept firing the good ones based in the USA and working with contract employees only

Cons

Leadership is clueless. They hire n fire without any direction. Stay away

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your contributions over the past several years. We’re glad to hear that you had a positive experience working with our engineering team. We deeply value our technical talent and know how critical they are to our mission. While we do sometimes make tough decisions about team structure and resource allocation—including using a mix of in-house and contract team members—those decisions are never taken lightly and are made in the context of business needs, sustainability, and long-term product growth. If you're open to it, we’d welcome a conversation to gain further insight into your experience. Wishing you the best in your next chapter, and thank you again for your time at ZenBusiness.

Pros

Honestly, there weren't any I can think of

Cons

Management lies to their employees. What you're told during hiring doesn't match what actually happens. They are enthusiastic, especially about making big promises they don't intend to keep. The CEO comes off out of touch, and that attitude shows across the company. Pay is much lower than expected, even if you hit your numbers. You're pushed to sell things people don't' really need, which starts to feel unethical. Leadership decisions don't help and often make things worse. There's a lot of pressure, but not much to show for it. It turns into a pretty horrible experience where trust fades quickly. Another thing that gets frustrating is how the pay keeps shifting around. You can put in the effort, hit your targets, and still not see it reflected in your paycheck. It makes it hard to feel motivated when things don't add up. You start wondering why you're pushing so hard when the return isn't there. It just doesn't feel fair over time. And then there's the day to day environment. It wears you down more than you'd expect. People don't stick around long, and that says a lot. Wins barely get noticed, but mistakes get called out right away. You end up just trying to get through the day instead of actually growing or enjoying the work. Run as fast as you can, and tell all your friends too.

Trust, transparency, and integrity are values we take seriously, and it's concerning to hear that you felt there was a disconnect between expectations and your experience. As our business continues to evolve, we remain committed to improving communication, supporting our teams, and creating an environment where employees feel valued, recognized, and equipped to succeed. Feedback like yours helps us better understand where we can do better. We appreciate the contributions you made during your time with ZenBusiness and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.
