Pros

The only positive aspect of working here is the supportive team. While everyone understands your struggles and is willing to help, the toxic culture remains a persistent issue.

Cons

"The company culture is extremely toxic. Some senior management hires seem solely focused on securing their own positions and impressing the founder by agreeing to everything he says, rather than fostering a startup culture where everyone's opinions are valued. Even the founder appears frustrated with this leadership, as they rarely contribute, instead just nodding along to his every word. As for the founder, I believe he lacks the necessary competency to lead as CEO. While he excels in sales and has strong selling skills, he completely lacks the executional strength needed for the role. The tech team also seems to be undermining the company, often using tactics like missed deadlines and shifting priorities to avoid responsibility.

Pros

You’ll pick up some very rare skills here – mainly how to survive office politics. These are taught like part of your job training. Pure survival mode.

Cons

Just forget about career growth. Nobody cares about your performance, your feedback, or your development. These things are only brought up during appraisals – and that’s when you’re magically turned into the worst employee, no matter how much you’ve given. Salary negotiations? Don’t expect anything real. HR is trained to sell dreams. The numbers they throw in discussions or offer letters are totally random and just meant to fool you. Never matches reality. The salary structure is a maze with unnecessary variables. When it’s time for revision, there’s always some "financial issue" or random excuse to deny you what you deserve. They’ll give you big titles like “Senior” or “Leader” and then set expectations so high that it’ll mentally break you. Your confidence will take a hit, and there’s zero motivation or support to help you rise. Politics here will mess up your head. Micromanagement is next-level. Nobody cares about real outcomes – just how well you’re able to flatter the senior folks. The more you sugarcoat and praise the leadership, the more you’re seen as a good employee. But the reality? You’re treated like bonded labour – minimum pay, no respect, no appreciation. But yes, daily questioning and pressure is constant.
