Pros

- Stable work environment - Cross functional team engagement - Holacratic leadership structure - with a bias towards data led and nimble decision making - Results and people oriented - company forward movement is structure around OKRs that are set in a give-and-take fashion - Highly compassionate towards work-life balance considerations i.e PTO and other workplace resources that one may reasonably require from time to time - Honest and transparent at all times about personal performance and one's realistic growth trajectory within teams and/or the wider business - Equitable in pay - market related or above market related pay - Non-discriminatory i.e. highly professional environment where the full spectrum of humanity is accepted and not delimited in their expression of who they are - Mature leadership that has a bias towards personal responsibility for one's growth trajectory but also realistic about the inherent limitations that exist in a company of people. I know of two people who switched roles with ease from one end of the business to another because they took the initiative to do so. So, the ball is in your court so to speak - Work as a team and foster learning and upskilling - This is the case pretty much always, even though the group is physically distant there is good timezone coverage where incidents or projects can be led and managed by people from around the world

Cons

There are none (not from my vantage point). Looking at other reviews - I do think that some people have been illogically subjective in projecting and conflating personal issues (mainly linked to entitlement) onto what Zepz should be (for them) and not for the better interests of the company, long term. Zepz is a great company. One would be hard pressed to find many like it from an all rounder perspective. Some may have better pay or perks or be in higher growth industries but I prefer the stability and balance that the Zepz niche offers - at least for my life. Migrants and cross border remittances are going nowhere - one just has to figure out how to add value within this environment and if not then they need to find another one where they can.

Pros: - Mission with Heart: Everything we build is centered on empowering cross-border communities and celebrating the impact migrants have on global prosperity. - Growth & Discovery: It’s an "adventure" environment where you can sharpen your skills on big, "sticky" problems that actually transform the working environment. - Performance Pays: There is a real commitment to ensuring that getting performance right pays dividends for our people, with a rewards strategy that differentiates impact. - Remote-First Flexibility: We focus on objectives and outcomes rather than desk time. But, expect to be held accountable for your outcomes, or lack thereof.

Cons

Cons / Reality Check: Not for Everyone: If you prefer a slow pace or highly prescriptive roles, you will struggle. Self-motivation and a "bias to action" are non-negotiable. Velocity is High: The pace is relentless. The ability to self manage and maintain a high level of personal accountability is an absolute requirement. Constant Evolution: You have to be comfortable with change and ambiguity. Expect to routinely operate with less than ideal information and/or time.
