Family business - Production/Finishing Zildjian Employee Review

If you're not a huge music industry lover, you will be soon. The business's passion is contagious. Leadership makes itself available, more than any company I've been in throughout my long career. There is little to no politics among coworkers, which is great. For the size of the company, the pay was excellent.

System adherence and proactive department collaboration are not 100% followed.

Great products and people. I was always challenged and it was inspiring to work with such passionate people and see your product being used in clubs and on TV. Leadership is very accessible to include the owners and they are very transparent. They listen to our ideas and empower & trust us to own our work; very little micromanaging. Ownership and leadership is also willing to take risks and push the envelope to grow the business.

The systems can be frustrating and can make work take longer than needed, especially the order entry system. Being in a small industry that's shrinking can at times force hard decisions about investment and has resulted in some downsizing over the past several years.
