Pros

Every other friday off and no crunch.

Cons

A work environment ranging from awkward and incredibly insensitive to outright hostile towards female employees. The studio is stuck in the past with a large number of lead and senior positions being filled by the same people for years. Management is an echo chamber and *a lot* of amazing talent has come and gone because they weren't part of the boys club. To make matters worse, this club doesn't care about games. At all. This shows not just from the lack of enthusiasm about the games, but also in the lack of creativity and originality in any of these games. There are and were tons of people with great ideas, but they were never in a position to help a dire lack of vision on the part of the management.

Pros

-Great working space, spacious area, bright, fresh air, with gym, fresh fruit in the kitchen. -People are open minded and wanting to learn, teamworks is great. -My lead will listen to suggestions, and actually agree and execute it. It's very rare in other studios. -Every other friday is off, but you have to work 1 extra hour from monday to thursday.

Cons

-They discriminate artist based on skill, which makes it hard for certain people to grow. One might be given task to make certain parts of a character, and weren't given chance to learn developing the whole character. -Lead is slow in giving feedback. As a result, when the feedback comes, artist have to redo a lot of thing. -The salary might be on the low side. -They always change their design to try making it better. As a result, the project advanced very slow because we keep making iterations. When asked, lead will say "we paid you to do it". -It's silly to make 3 itterations of a characters, unless you have unlimited funding. First iteration is already undesirable waste of money, second iteration might get the project canceled.
