Management sets the environment as a good place to work. Originally beginning as a startup, it still has a startup feel and environment yet, now as a Carbonite company, also has the perks and environs of a big company.

No particular downsides to mention. I have nothing but good memories working there.

Open Source can be a rich, vibrant community to work with.

Very engineering heavy organization. For as many engineers that they have available, software development is slow, buggy, and without direction.
