Pros
Honestly? I liked the work. Folding shirts, packaging, screen-printing, Dye-sub, it was all enjoyable, meditative, physical work. My coworkers were chill, both the younger ones and the older ones. Once I knew what I was doing, I enjoyed my tasks. I didn't actually end up doing any computer graphic design work, if you're wondering, but that was fine. I like folding shirts well enough. Also, this is a low bar to clear, but when I was off the clock I was off the clock. I wasn't asked to do more work than that.
Cons
That said, the communication was not great. I spent a lot of time, standing around, not knowing what to do because the only one who knew what I should be doing was the Boss, and he wasn't around all the time, and was sometimes hard to find. I had to do so much meaningless busywork just to keep myself from getting bored. On top of that, the Boss had an occasional mean-streak. He'd sometimes humiliate his employees, he'd pick fights with some of my coworkers if he knew how to get under their skin, being around him often felt volatile and uncomfortable. I had a couple weird interactions with him too. I was also always throwing out his half-drunk sodas. Like, c'mon, man. This is supposed to be a place of business.
