Pros
Zwift is a cool place to work. It’s certainly had its growing pains but they’ve made a lot of employee-friendly improvements over the recent months. Given all the craziness with COVID-19, they have provided desks and chairs to anyone who wants one at home and added a monthly stipend to our paychecks to cover any additional WFH expenses. In terms of benefits, they have improved a lot since I first started. Better medical plans through HMO and PPO and the company increased their contribution so it’s a lower out of pocket cost for employees and families. The Dental and Vision benefits are pretty good as well. There are a lot of in and out of network options with the out of network options only costing 10% more than in-network places, which is nice. HR also just announced an increase in the Parental Leave Program to cover 12 weeks, which is a huge change and much appreciated/needed. We’ve also received a lot of mental health support options since COVID-19 took over. Everyone has free access to the mindfulness app Headspace and options for free therapy sessions through a third-party. It seems like they are putting a huge focus on employee well-being, which is much needed during this pandemic. And they also gave everyone access to their $2,300 fitness budget because of COVID. This is usually something that can take a long time to unlock if you’re not a cyclist but now everyone can purchase workout equipment for their home since we no longer have access to the employee gym
