Pros

If you are in the technical team you will never be bored with the range of good products and the training you will receive in learning them. You can also engage in a range of different roles from training to PS and pre-sales. Zycko takes training seriously so you will be well trained whilst you are here. The setting here, in the Cotswold Water Park, is beautiful with lots of lakes to walk/run around at lunchtime, depending on your preference plus some good venues for lunch. If you like in the Cotswolds or west of Swindon Zycko is much closer than having to travel all the way to Bracknell/Reading where most other technology companies are based.

Cons

No real clear career progression. There are some good jobs here but not much in the way of a career. The culture is quite old fashioned, bizarre for a technology company. For example, you are expected to be in the office between 8:30 and 5:30 every day with limited flexbility or working from home options which means that if you have to go home in the afternoon to attend a family emergency you risk losing half a day's pay. Considering that most of the skills in IT are based in the Thames Valley this makes recruitment for Zycko problematic.

Pros

Busy environment, no chance of getting bored. High pressure atmosphere but generally a good team to work with. Reasonable benefits package. Some interesting technologies in their portfolio.

Cons

UK Sales Director likes to micro manage. Poor Location. In my experience the pre-sales department had no respect for the sales/product management department and often worked against some of Zycko's vendors as a result too much of their business comes from too few of Zycko's vendors
