Pros
- Noble concept of being able to genuinely help the public sector.
- All teams are largely autonomous and new ideas can be heard and implemented quickly.
- Ability to travel UK wide (for client facing roles).
- Fast paced - there is always lots to do, especially in client facing roles.
Cons
- The core product has usability improvements which are required, without such it can be challenging to manage client expectations, reactive and resource intensive.
- Above average staff turnover, which is yet to be addressed.
- The bond between management and non-management is not particularly strong (with some exceptions).
- The workload can be very high at times which many find stressful at some point or another - with frequent peaks and troughs.
- It's difficult to deliver on good customer experience with stretched and regularly changing teams.
