1, no clear role responsibilities, many employees have the “not my responsibility attitude”, or they even ignore.
2, Austria has normally good job security, that’s not true for ams. People are afraid, meanwhile they are expected to give up their personal lives on the company. People are frustrated.
3, no good training, development opportunities for employees, especially not for young talented people. ams hires senior people from competition, who are less loyal, and will leave for a better opportunity
4, In HQ they only hire international people, when they couldn’t find an Austrian, and they don’t even try to hide it
5, men’s world. You barely see women in roles with higher responsibilities in HQ.
6, weak HR. They give you your contract, and that’s the last time you had interaction with them before you leave. When you try to give them feedback, they will try to convince you, why poop smells like flowers.
7, C level is arrogant, focuses on short term. They make bold choices, and others have to suffer for it. The company is very hierarchical. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal, than others.”
