Working at BP isn't so bad, but the crazy management and organization of the company leaves it vulnerable to more risk. - Anonymous employee bp Employee Review

Pros

Benefits are great - pay, all insurances, bonuses, company matching, vacation, are above most companies; but about equal to other oil gas companies. Supports diversity and inclusion quite well.

Cons

Too many reorganizations; big emphasis on who you know rather than what you can do. Seems that it doesn't matter if you do a good job - more important than doing a good job is who you know in the company. Must have the personality to socialize and network quite a bit in order to be successful.

Pros

Supportive team environment with good learning opportunities and exposure to large-scale projects. Compensation and benefits are competitive, and the company offers strong brand recognition and career development resources.

Cons

Decision-making can be slow due to layers of management, and processes sometimes feel overly bureaucratic. Workload and priorities can shift quickly, which may create stress depending on the team.
