Pros
Small company, generally not hard to get in touch with HR person and leadership, but on the rare occasions they get swamped it can take a long time for someone to get back to you. Ownership tries hard to be invested in contract success, but outcomes appear to be dependent on if they are the prime or the sub. Standard set of benefits, costs and choices are pretty reasonable for what they are.
Cons
Faces the usual small company challenges. Not a high level of communications from HQ sometimes; it would be nice to know more about what is going on in the company and what opportunities they are working on. Limited visibility into other opportunities, most of the job listings they have on the website appear outdated and really just an opportunity for them to add to the resume pile. No real communications between contracts, so can't determine if your cohorts on another contract have solved similar problems as you are running into.
