Pros

Great work life balance and people before sale and layoffs

Cons

The managers are not transparent to the employees at all. The upper management as well, pretended that nothing is wrong with the company's direction. When some of the higher ups quit "suddenly", all the managers pretended that none of ours jobs are under threat, lied right our faces, 2 months before we were fired with immediate effect. Not a single "look out for yourself" from the managers. We had no time to prepeare ourselves for the market that could not be any worse. Managers protected their jobs by kicking us out. People who have been working for 2 years or more were let go. Lot of us have been struggling since then to find a job in this market. There is absolutely no honesty towards employees. Managers kept their jobs by kicking us out. Period. Biased managers promote people who cant tell the difference if node js is a frontend or a backend framework. Less skilled and less technically sound people were promoted to manager/architect positions when technically sound people, who worked and contributed for more than 2 3 years were laid off. Managers are inclined towards their favorites despite lacking technical depth in work.

Pros

The company is clearly on the fast track to success. Lots of investment in the business and its people. We're able to move a lot faster than we used to (when we were nVent). The people truly care about one another.

Cons

None that I can think of. Some minor growing pains as policies change over from nVent to Chemelex but the transition is happening quickly and is well-communicated.
