There are many opportunities to grow into new roles, be it changing position (e.g. from developer, to business analyst to project manager) or to learn new technologies and business domains.
Cons
The flexibility and dynamic work environment mentioned as a pro can occasionally lead to professional anomie if the employee and his/her manager do not actively manage the challenges of shifting roles.
