Pros
- most people starting come in via a graduate recruitment agency. You end up staying because you need the money and you put up with the nonsense as you know no better. Thats why most people dont stay over 2 years. People get the skills and basically a graduate playground and most go on to working in some really cool companies - so for that - its a great launchpad. Lots of recruiters see eviivo later on and are keen to snap up ex-eviivo employees so for that alone its a great pro. - Office is in Kings Cross so very central/accessible. they also have parking out front (rare in central london) - typical pros like dental/health insurance etc (so standard for any company but still a pro) - OK benefits like corporate discount scheme for cinema/high st shops - product is really cool and constantly evolving, particularly during the lockdown period - Working internationally across markets is great
Cons
- since lockdown only being a 'home worker'/ office worker - NO help post COVID - literally zero support and you are just a number - Managers are awful and toxic. Some have '1:1s' with you just to belittle you and berate you. - They expect you as a remote worker to be glued to the screen for 8-9 hrs a day - Commission is dependent on sales and commission is not fairly distributed - No progression even after working very hard - A lot of nepotism inside and outside of the office. - Attitude of 'working longer is working harder' - They need to use slack - as a lot of tasks are missed and not followed up. More tasks then there is time in the day. - The CEO, noone dares utter her name and refers to her by initial. Terrible environment if you cant even have a conversation with the CEO and people feel like they need to worship the ground she stands on. She is big on corporate social responsibility so she tries to do the community thing, but the organisation is too large to behave in such a preposterous place - no respect for mental health at all. they just do not care. - they say its a 'performance driven environment' >> READ pressure cooker environment. imagine being pushed and pushed and pushed till breaking point > this is eviivo. entire teams have walked out in the space of a few months
