Thanks so much for taking the time to review! The one thing I hear most from our people during exit interviews is that they are so appreciative of the growth opportunitites we offer. And, yes, we were hit hard by COVID. However, now we are back stronger than ever! With gratitude, Janine

Pros

Working at ezCater provided a strong remote work environment with good flexibility and work-life balance. I had the opportunity to work alongside supportive coworkers and collaborate with talented people across multiple teams. The role helped me strengthen my skills in escalations management, problem solving, customer experience, and operational support within a fast-paced marketplace environment. I also gained valuable experience handling complex partner and customer issues while balancing high-volume workloads and competing priorities. For someone looking to grow their communication, multitasking, and operational troubleshooting skills, it can be a valuable experience.

Cons

The company went through frequent organizational changes and restructuring, which created a sense of instability over time. Communication from upper leadership could sometimes feel inconsistent, especially during periods of operational change or uncertainty. Workloads and performance expectations increased significantly, which at times negatively impacted morale and overall employee experience. Career growth opportunities and advancement paths were not always clearly defined, and decision making from senior leadership occasionally felt disconnected from the day-to-day realities faced by frontline employees. The culture also felt noticeably different compared to what many longer-tenured employees described from earlier years at the company.
