Pros
Lower level management was amazing. Customers were nice and the job itself was fun. I developed great relationships with many of my coworkers.
Cons
Boutique Team Leader and above could not have given less of a crap about their employees. The Promise and achieving sales goals were the only points of focus. The Promise is a joke. It doesn't work, at least not in my experience. Upper level management preached working as a team yet, wouldn't return phone calls or emails except to reprimand employees. Very rarely did we receive praise or even a simple thank you, for the hard work we did. The boutique team leader up through the district manager were self centered, egotistical, and manipulative. They wanted to make all kinds of changes to the store but, were never willing to put in any of the work. The Team Leader (that title is a joke because she was not even close to being a part of the team) was never willing to lift a finger. When confronted on such actions, all you got in return were excuses and defensiveness. As a sales lead, the hours and pay are terrible yet, they expect your life to revolve around this job. Overall, this company is going downhill very quickly. Save yourself the stress and don't even apply. The pay is nowhere near worth it for the stress this company will cause you.
