Pros
direct colleagues are nice and competent – appart from the management.
Cons
I left greatcontent pretty traumatized. I have never experienced anything like this and I would strongly advise people NOT to apply there.
First of all, there was no balance between the workload and the amount of hours we had to work. As a result, we were put under a lot of pressure by the management to meet deadlines.
The low salaries in no way compensated for this. There was also a difference in income between those with the same position.
The people in charge had poor to no management skills. They also lacked all sense of humanity and respect for its employees and were testing legal boundaries to get what they wanted – e.g lying about vacations days or the status quo of the company.
Managers were highly unethical – they often used intimidation and manipulation as a way of controlling us.
We were literally treated as numbers. Many people were brought to tears several times in front of me.
There has never been any sense of consideration or empathy for us, which explains why there was a huge turnover wihtin the company and why people called in sick on a regular basis (resulting in an increased workload for the rest of us). Moreover, asking for holidays was always problematic as we all had to do several jobs at the same time, despite our contracts and working hours.
Ultimately resulting in poor rather than great content.
