Pros
Pay more than minimum wages
Cons
They book you for shifts at festivals and give you a 30-minute break one hour into your shift. The worst part is they end your shift after 3 or 4 hours, and you have to wait for your transport home 7 hours later. If you have a shift at a festival at 12:30, they start sending people home at 3:30, saying there are too many people and "the bar isn't making enough profit!" Why hire too many people, making us travel to a different county for only three-hour shifts? That's very poor management and shows they don't care about their employees. Today, I started my shift at Longitude at 12:30pm, and at 3pm they ended my shift, even though I was supposed to work until 8 or 10pm. What kind of company makes you travel from far away to a place without public transport and leaves you stranded, waiting to go home 8 hours later? It's not a good place to work.
