Pros

high salary, good location, overall good benefits

Cons

Bad project management. Rushing unrealistic project timelines. Unhelpful colleagues (maybe not all, but at least the team I joined). Don't ask question kinda environment, yet you need to know everything (even you just came in a week). You need to be a good magician here 1. No documentation here, just make things work 2. Product / Project Management are bad, no proper delivery framework 3. Business Side expect dev team to know the product requirement. (Maybe business team need to know what is Product Manager, hire some pls) 4. As a developer here, focus on creating more money for the team, quality of code is not important.

Pros

22 days AL Competitive salary Decent bonus for top performer

Cons

📌 Misleading Job Scope — What You See Is NOT What You Get Flag this for anyone considering the Business Analyst or Business Analyst (System QA – UAT Test Focus) roles in iFAST's ePension HK Support team. The job posting heavily implies BA and UAT work. In reality, the actual day-to-day is predominantly ticket screening and acting as backup support for testing — very little of what a true BA or QA professional would consider core work. The only system you will ever touch is ePension system. Do not expect exposure to any other software application or IT system. Scope is far narrower than advertised. The posting mentions UAT as a focus, but the actual environment revolves around another testing env— where you are regularly caught between demanding clients and a team dynamic that can feel unsupportive. Expect to be in firefighting mode more often than not. If you are joining hoping to build proper BA or QA skills, be warned: the entire workflow is 100% manual and traditional. There is minimal opportunity for upskilling or working with modern tools or methodologies. No test management tools, no modern documentation platforms. If you were expecting Confluence, or any equivalent — lower your expectations significantly. Maintain and update testing documentation solely rely on Excel or Docx. Management is another concern. The team is young, which is not inherently a problem — but without experienced leadership to guide them, there is little structure for growth or progression. Decisions feel reactive rather than strategic.
