Lots of opportunity to work on many different projects. You're largely free to work without micromanagement. Gain a lot of experience in a lot of fields. You can become a subject matter mini-expert in many fields. You will become very, very disciplined.
Cons
Really, really high turnover among people this isn't a good fit for. Criticism of work can be withering, although it is genuinely being offered to help you do better next time. Intense pressure to perform to the best of your ability always and everywhere.
