Pros

The negatives, unfortunately, overshadow any positives this company may have offered. This review reflects the unprofessional and false statements I’ve heard about myself since my departure, statements that are not only damaging and untrue but also deeply disappointing. That said, before certain members joined the company, there was a promising focus on growth and ownership. During that time, there was a stronger sense of alignment and purpose among employees, which made the work environment far more cohesive and encouraging. I can only state this in the Marketing department, this was not evident across other areas within the business.

Cons

I had high hopes when I joined iResearch Services, but my experience was deeply disappointing. Leadership is severely lacking, particularly in addressing sensitive issues professionally. Decisions are driven by emotion rather than reason, creating a toxic environment where fairness and meritocracy take a backseat. Certain team members displayed behaviour that was rude, distasteful, and passive-aggressive, completely contrary to the kind of culture or company I would ever choose to be part of. These issues were dismissed, and the leadership’s passive and isolated approach to addressing them was a significant factor in my decision to leave. Remaining silent in situations that demand strong and decisive leadership speaks volumes about the company’s priorities and values. The impact of this environment on mental health cannot be overstated. Employees subjected to extreme stress due to a toxic culture, lack of support, and poor leadership suffer both personally and professionally. A failure to prioritise employee well-being not only diminishes morale but also affects productivity and retention. For any organisation to succeed, fostering a workplace that values mental health, provides adequate support, and addresses harmful behaviours promptly and effectively is non-negotiable. Despite going above and beyond, building an entire division and working tirelessly to drive its success, I was not recognised appropriately. Bonuses and pay failed to reflect my contributions. Favouritism was evident, and those undeservingly promoted eventually left, highlighting the unsustainable nature of such decisions. I also felt that my positive relationships with other leadership heads seemed to trigger jealousy among certain women, leading to unnecessary tension and an unprofessional environment. Additionally, I noticed a concerning trend where an entire department was frequently off sick, leaving others to shoulder the doubled workload. This lack of accountability and proper resource management only added to the stress and frustration of the already strained team. Ironically, women in leadership positions failed to empower other women, further exacerbating a toxic dynamic. The company also continues to tolerate appalling attitudes from some male members who remain. Misogynistic and sexist behaviours were rampant and went unchecked, contributing to an uncomfortable and unprofessional work environment. Due to these poor decisions, I decided to resign. During this period, I was quite appalled and shocked with HR and the CEO who handled this - others were not involved. I was isolated, not compensated correctly, and my exit was handled poorly - with a day to leave (very unprofessional, and mentally exhausting). Instead of a professional handover and goodbye to teams, after 3 years of service, sadly, false narratives about me were spread within the company, which I find defamatory and deeply troubling. This not only shows a lack of integrity but also sets a concerning precedent for how employees are treated. The mantra of "being kind and giving back" is nothing more than a façade. The sentiment that "you are just another number" resonates strongly and was painfully evident throughout my experience here. I strongly urge potential candidates to reconsider their options. Without significant changes in leadership, cultural accountability, and respect for employees, this company is a breeding ground for dissatisfaction and disillusionment.

Pros

My experience was that I was relatively able to work peacefully and with any accommodations I needed. Benefits were pretty good, not stellar but decent. Some management people are very decent and direct (mostly people from the UK and a couple from India).

Cons

Upper management is not fully transparent with their dealings and objectives, and they of course claim they care about their people but they will still go ahead and not be honest with you until it's too late. There are not many career progression opportunities because of the size of the company, and only the same people will get recognition over and over, even if other people helped out with projects as well. Also, upper management is a closed-knit circle in a way and they will defend each other no matter what. A lot of the very decent people I met during my time at the company left so that should tell you that this ship might be sinking slowly.
