Pros
Disciplined in all respects. Smooth interview experience.
Cons
Reviews about this organization are fake on this platform. I was approached by the HR while I was working there to provide a review for the organization which I refused much to the annoyance of the HR on the basis of ethics and principles, and employee rights.
One of the worst organisations I have worked for.
The HR was annoyed that I practiced work-life balance and took that against me. No work from home policy, not even in case some genuine concern and issue.
I was forced to resign from my position and so were at least 3 people around me, All of these were red flags that I did not recognise and thought something like this wouldn't happen to me. The organisation doesn't seem to have a concept of open and transparent performance reviews of all the employees. And there is a clear biasness towards employees graduating from a particular college.
It is not actually one organisation but four organisations who share the same senior management. And across these four organizations, all employees are treated very similarly. The HR which should have been the 'Voice of the Employees' is in fact just the opposite.
If you provide any genuine feedback to the organization about the conduct of the senior managament, they protect them and ask you to leave instead. After leaving the organization, I have taken about 2-3 years to process everything that I went through while I was working there because I wanted to be sure that like all good employees that I learn from this 'bad experience' and do not repeat my mistakes.
While the HR is absolutely non-supportive and extremely protective of the senior management and organization, the senior management is extremely disrespectful and rude. On two separate occasions, I experienced extreme disrespect by someone who was the CEO of another sister-organisation. On top of the biasness towards employees graduating from one particular college, all the organizations reek with nepotism which is very hard to digest.
What happened with me there, literally destroyed my career overnight and the words of the HR were 'all things happen for good'. One of the most insensitive HRs that I have come across. What was also very surprising that I had come from an organisation where the HR was largely non-intrusive, but here things are very different and as an employee one needs to be prepared for the worst happening to them.
Do not join them if you have another offer in hand. And especially do not join them if you feel that this organisation could a very serious stepping stone for your career and if you are planning to spend at least 2-3 years working for them. It is not worth any of the efforts that you will put here. Because, in my opinion, the senior management and HR comes across as dumb, and doesn't have a very clear understanding of what kind of work takes how much kind of effort.
The culture is unkind and non-supportive. Don't join,
The concept and the products are very interesting and would excite you enough to want to put your complete heart and soul in your work. Don't fall for that trap. The senior management is too selfish to think and care for people beyond themselves. They are really only it it for themselves, everyone else is just deluding themselves. There were some policy changes that they made to ESOPs and other such thing. During the time of interview do not forget to ask about those policies and all future bonuses and then plan your employment with them accordingly. Even if you choose to join and work, work very mechanically and do not become attached.
