Cons
Depending on your role within the company, as a TAM, I have to rely on other departments to help me complete my job. Especially when dealing with difficult customers, there might be internal competition to get your requests prioritized. Being a bridge between the customer and internal product team, there may be times where your customer requests conflict with the direction of the company so you'll need to be able to manage customer expecations.
