Pros

icitizen has an amazing mission and awesome team. It’s a fast-paced environment with really good leadership. The managers care about the personal and professional development of the employees.

Cons

Like all startups, icitizen has had issues with communication across teams. However, with new leadership joining the company, this past year has been great and the future looks bright!

Pros

- Great mission to create the one location where you can make your voice count! - The team respects each other and works hard - Every day the team eats lunch together (the free lunch is tasty) - Your input does make a difference - The management team listens to feedback - Using leading edge tech

Cons

- There is a lot to do and would be great to have more people on the team - Some (not all) of the past team members have been a bit bitter after leaving - It's a small startup with normal startup issues - too much to do with too little time - The work is hard and sometimes long hours

Pros

We are making more money every month, and have more traffic every month. As a start up, that is the most important measure of success, the leaders, and overall team effort. I could end my review here. Additionally, managers care about people, the food is pretty good, and we have a flexible work schedule. There are many incredible good people and hard workers on this team. So, not only are we making money and getting more users, but we are doing so with people who are nice to be around.

Cons

Every company has some bad apples and this should be addressed, such as the "employee" who brags about having a second job and collecting an easy paycheck (no clue who this actually is or if they are a real employee), but congratulations, you admit making your colleagues do the work you are paid to do. That shows no integrity and it creates a strain on the good people. You should do the right thing even when people are not looking over your shoulder. Other than this, I don't have major cons.
