Pros

- Remote Work - Freedom of work time

Cons

- Super super super liberal owner. - Thinks he knows design because of his fine art background (sorry fine art is not design) - Unestablished structure - Owner says you can hit him up anytime but when you do, expect a 1 week respond time - Beware of meeting date changes and they change it often - Meeting is essentially useless, a bunch of old guys praising how it can change the game but offers no real direction - Finished a design project in 1 week, took 1 month for them to approve and assign me another assignment. - Didn't give the art director and I freedom to design a brand, brand story, brand style, color palette, image usage. EVERYTHING IS TO STAY AS THE OWNER'S VISION (even if it is one of the biggest weak point to the brand). For any designers looking at this, he is hell bent on using Helvetica, grayscale as color palette with minimal colors, and please, look up the mascot he's so proud of. it just does not work. - NO PAY WHAT SO EVER. Empty promises with no compensation. - Be ware of the "I've hired a lot of college students like you but they just don't have the ethics!" (have you ever thought maybe you are the problem if 100% of the intern you hire have "no ethics" - Owner will really really try to convert you with liberal ideas. Having ANY doubt will award you with a "you're screwed, you and your generation are screwed" - 0 Professionalism, Owner will be smoking a cig in the bathroom while in a meeting (???? just turn off your camera????)

Pros

Impactful work that will actually make a true change in the world for the majority! Equity in the company when you prove your worth. Getting to work with some amazing folk across the globe who want to amplify others. Get to choose what you want to actually work on.

Cons

It’s a startup in the seeding phase and needs more traction so folks can get paid a salary for full time work. If you are not a self starter and are waiting for someone to tell you what to do, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Remote work, interesting final goal

Cons

CEO "hires" people for different jobs, but want's to tell everybody how to do their job and doesn't like it when people tries to do it in another way. At least since march 2021, CEO has kept saying they're 60 days away from lunching, 3.5 years later still hasn't happened.
