Pros
I have had the chance to dramatically expand my skill set and take ownership of large projects. I am able to impact the design of features and implementation details are left to our discretion. The technology team is a great place for talented engineers to thrive. Our CTO has a strong drive to create an inclusive, egalitarian team that doesn't shy away from hard problems. Working on our team is generally low stress (though maybe not always low hours). If you're a strong technologist who wants to grow and work on some great projects, MLevel is the place to be. I am very confident in the leadership direction of the company and feel our management has done an excellent job of creating a connected company culture. Our product is something we can really be proud of and I'm excited to see where MLevel goes next. Comp is in line with industry.
Cons
You know what you're signing up for so I don't know that it's a con but you're expected to put work first at MLevel. We don't work crazy hours most of the time but occasionally the hours explode to accommodate an impending deadline or off hour deployment.
