Pros

1) Great value proposition and huge TAM 2) Product is differentiated, very strong AI workflows, and customer ROI is absolutely top tier 3) Team (all functions) work well togther - we take training and building technical, domain, and product knowledge very seriously 4) Non-political and culture focused company. I think people genuinely like enjoy working with one another, and we know we succeed as a company, not at anyone else's expense.

Cons

1) Pace of learning and change can be pretty fast. Have to be ready to learn all of the time. Not news here, but technologoy innovation is the fastest it's been that I've seen. This is affecting just about all tech companies - we're likely more in tune with it and adjust continuously. 2) We don't have thousands of people, so people have to play a lot of roles. Fun and rewarding, but likely a different operating rhythm vs. being part of a thousand + person company.

Pros

Good product and stable business. Some good people. Learned a lot of new things on the job!

Cons

I felt hired to meet a diversity target, rather than because they genuinely wanted me. Externally they tout DEI to clients and on their site, but internally managers behaved with blatant racism. The recruiting process depended on a candidate’s race: white applicants topically went through several interview stages and received strong consideration - while candidates of color typically got a brief screening call and then disappeared. When I raised objections I was dismissed and called "overly sensitive". When I asked about career growth I was told to I needed to “prove myself first.” They sell themselves as "progressive and inclusive" to attract business, yet quietly discriminate against the people they claim to champion.

As the cofounder of mabl, this is important for me to respond personally. We sincerely apologize for the way you have felt/feel at mabl. We take these claims of discrimination in our hiring process, promotion guidelines and work environment very seriously. Our goal is to foster a diverse and truly inclusive workplace. There are several steps to ensure fairness in our hiring process including job descriptions that are inviting to all backgrounds, consistent behavioral interview questions throughout our process, and encouraging our managers, recruiters and agencies to focus on diversity across mabl teams. We also share career matrices across the organization to provide transparency around what it takes to be promoted at mabl. While we’re not perfect, we believe diverse teams and perspectives achieve incredible results and we’re focused on building a highly diverse company. We will take your feedback and actively raise it at our next internal leadership meeting to help us improve.
